SECURITY & ENCRYPTION

Secure Connection to Banks Worldwide

BankFabric protects your data, infrastructure, and access at every point during two-way information exchange between your ERP and financial institutions.

Uncompromising Security Standards

Data security and privacy are the cornerstones of the BankFabric system design. Developed by banking experts, BankFabric meets SOC 2 Type II standards, as evidenced by audits we conduct annually. We also employ a third-party service to perform PEN testing annually to ensure BankFabric keeps all data, sensitive account info, and financial information safe, even under direct attack. All communication is encrypted via SSL (TLS 1.2) and authenticated by Microsoft Identity servers, ensuring only appropriate access by authorized parties. Files are stored in Azure are encrypted, using server-side encryption (SSE).

Infrastructure: Azure Storage Means Maximum Security

BankFabric stores all data in Microsoft’s Azure Storage platform. Azure Storage has more security certifications than any other cloud provider.

Backups on Azure

BankFabric disk encryption uses FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic module and uses an AES 256-bit cipher for the Azure storage encryption.

Azure Key Vaults

Sensitive bank connection information (all encryption keys, passwords, and secrets) is stored in Azure Key Vaults.

Customer Control

Geo-redundant locations and data replication configurations are controlled by your organization.

Secrets Automatically Swapped

Continuously, automatic swapping of secrets maintains source verification and eliminates vulnerabilities.

Account Security: Always Under Your Control

You maintain security standards and processes with your banks. Encryption keys and passwords for secure communication with your banks are maintained in BankFabric (masked) but stored in your Azure subscription in an Azure Key Vault.

Single Login

Login security is handled by the Microsoft Identity server and Microsoft Entra ID, with password requirements and multifactor authentication options that you set.

User Permissions

Administrators can issue specific permissions, with configurable granular security in some instances.

Multi-Level Checks

Only users authenticated through the Microsoft identity server can log in. Unauthorized attempts are logged and reported.
